Psaume 103 1De David. Mon âme, bénis l'Éternel! Que tout ce qui est en moi bénisse son saint nom!
2Mon âme, bénis l'Éternel, Et n'oublie aucun de ses bienfaits!
3C'est lui qui pardonne toutes tes iniquités, Qui guérit toutes tes maladies;
4C'est lui qui délivre ta vie de la fosse, Qui te couronne de bonté et de miséricorde;
5C'est lui qui rassasie de biens ta vieillesse, Qui te fait rajeunir comme l'aigle.
6L'Éternel fait justice, Il fait droit à tous les opprimés.
7Il a manifesté ses voies à Moïse, Ses oeuvres aux enfants d'Israël.
8L'Éternel est miséricordieux et compatissant, Lent à la colère et riche en bonté;
9Il ne conteste pas sans cesse, Il ne garde pas sa colère à toujours;
10Il ne nous traite pas selon nos péchés, Il ne nous punit pas selon nos iniquités.
11Mais autant les cieux sont élevés au-dessus de la terre, Autant sa bonté est grande pour ceux qui le craignent;
12Autant l'orient est éloigné de l'occident, Autant il éloigne de nous nos transgressions.
13Comme un père a compassion de ses enfants, L'Éternel a compassion de ceux qui le craignent.
14Car il sait de quoi nous sommes formés, Il se souvient que nous sommes poussière.
15L'homme! ses jours sont comme l'herbe, Il fleurit comme la fleur des champs.
16Lorsqu'un vent passe sur elle, elle n'est plus, Et le lieu qu'elle occupait ne la reconnaît plus.
17Mais la bonté de l'Éternel dure à jamais pour ceux qui le craignent, Et sa miséricorde pour les enfants de leurs enfants,
18Pour ceux qui gardent son alliance, Et se souviennent de ses commandements afin de les accomplir.
19L'Éternel a établi son trône dans les cieux, Et son règne domine sur toutes choses.
20Bénissez l'Éternel, vous ses anges, Qui êtes puissants en force, et qui exécutez ses ordres, En obéissant à la voix de sa parole!
21Bénissez l'Éternel, vous toutes ses armées, Qui êtes ses serviteurs, et qui faites sa volonté!
22Bénissez l'Éternel, vous toutes ses oeuvres, Dans tous les lieux de sa domination! Mon âme, bénis l'Éternel!ITALIANO
Salmi 103
1«Salmo di Davide.» Benedici, anima mia, l'Eterno, e tutto quello che è in me benedica il suo santo nome.
2Benedici, anima mia, l'Eterno e non dimenticare alcuno dei suoi benefici.
3Egli perdona tutte le tue iniquità e guarisce tutte le tue infermità,
4riscatta la tua vita dalla distruzione e ti corona di benignità e di compassioni;
5egli sazia di beni la tua bocca e ti fa ringiovanire come l'aquila.
6L'Eterno opera con giustizia e difende la causa degli oppressi.
7Egli ha fatto conoscere a Mosè le sue vie e ai figli d'Israele le sue opere.
8L'Eterno è pietoso e clemente, lento all'ira e di grande benignità.
9Egli non contende in eterno e non serba l'ira per sempre
10Egli non ci tratta come meritano i nostri peccati, e non ci castiga in base alle nostre colpe.
11Poiché, quanto sono alti i cieli al di sopra della terra, tanto è grande la sua benignità verso quelli che lo temono.
12Quanto è lontano il levante dal ponente, tanto ha egli allontanato da noi le nostre colpe.
13Come un padre è pietoso verso i suoi figli, cosí è pietoso l'Eterno verso quelli che lo temono.
14Perché egli conosce la nostra natura e si ricorda che siamo polvere.
15I giorni dell'uomo sono come l'erba; egli fiorisce come il fiore del campo;
16se il vento gli passa sopra, egli non è piú e il suo luogo non lo si riconosce piú.
17Ma la benignità dell'Eterno dura d'eternità in eternità per quelli che lo temono e la sua giustizia per i figli dei figli,
18per quelli che osservano il suo patto e si ricordano dei suoi comandamenti per metterli in pratica.
19L'Eterno ha stabilito il suo trono nei cieli, e il suo regno domina su tutto.
20Benedite l'Eterno, voi suoi angeli potenti e forti, che fate ciò che egli dice, ubbidendo alla voce della sua parola.
21Benedite l'Eterno, voi tutti eserciti suoi, voi suoi ministri, che fate la sua volontà.
22Benedite l'Eterno, voi tutte le sue opere, in tutti i luoghi del suo dominio. Anima mia. benedici l'Eterno!
Psalm 103
1Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
10He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
14For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
18To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
19The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
20Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
21Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
22Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
